The Deathworkz group got to get our nostalgia on and dance and sing during a Rocky Horror picture performance of Time Warp! They hosted an awesome looking Costume Ball, which unfortunately, we werent able to attend this year because it was 18 and older and my daughter is still 17....but next year - ITS ON!! The mini haunts were SO much fun!! Boneyard FX was representing of course and their makeups were MIND BLOWING!! Of course I stopped by to see Ralis again this year and get our annual picture of him strangling me LOL. I also picked up a mask from him that i cant wait to unleash on Deathworkz visitors this year!!! Our friends at Necrotic Creations continue to churn out some of the best creations we've seen!
I cant stress this enough....and I know I said this exact thing last year.....This is a fantastic resource for the whole gamut! Professional haunters, Transitioning haunters such as ourselves from a home haunt to a professional haunt as well as home haunters. The props, tools, etc that can take your haunt from 'meh' to WOW are priced affordably and there is something for everyone.
This year Deathwork sported our brand new logo tshirts and we chose to do PopArt Zombie makeup and BOY was it popular! We took tons of pics with people there and we even got asked to do an interview for Scare LA!! We made some new friends, visited with some old ones and tooks lots of pics. Take a peek at the Deathworkz Gallery...we've posted some pics of the awesomeness that is Scare LA.
We really wished we could've stayed for Sundays festivities, but are enjoying all of the posts of the fun stuff going on there are their Instagram page. It was long awaited and over so quickly, but once again, we were SO excited to attend! We've been going since they had their very first show so it has happily become a Deathworkz tradition.
See you again next year Scare LA!!
